AraBat

AraBat is a deep-tech company recovering critical raw materials from spent batteries, capacitors, and other electronic waste, using AraMet, our patented, biomass-driven hydrometallurgical platform. AraMet replaces the industrial acids and oxidants conventional recycling depends on with organic acids and agricultural by-products, recovering lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese, copper, and rare earth elements at up to 60% lower cost and 50% lower CO2 emissions, with SOx/NOx emissions eliminated by design. Engineered in Italy since 2022 (AraBat S.r.l., our R&D subsidiary) and incorporated in the US in 2026 (AraBat Corporation) to scale internationally, AraBat holds two patent families, has a signed PoC Development Agreement with Taiyo Yuden, is backed by Techstars (Tokyo 2026 Class), and is building its first pilot recycling facility in Italy. We operate through tolling, merchant, and licensing models, and are expanding into new feedstocks, including permanent magnet recycling.
